When students are accepted for full admission into the Bachelor of Science Nursing program, the Master of Nursing Science program or the PhD in Nursing program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Nursing, they are encouraged to investigate possible sources of loans and scholarships.

Endowed scholarships for the UAMS College of Nursing have been made possible through the generosity of donors and alumni of this College. Funding is available for undergraduate and graduate students. • Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of scholastic ability and financial need. They are subject to the maintenance of satisfactory academic work and the completion of all of the requirements listed on the application form.
• You must be accepted into one of the UAMS College of Nursing programs to apply for any of the named scholarships. Please do not send in your scholarship application until you have received a letter of acceptance.
• Applications received past the postmarked due date will not be considered.
• Most scholarships are awarded for fall and spring only (except for the full paid scholarships, Beaumont and Skelly scholarships).
• BSN Scholarship Application Deadline: April 3
• MNSc/PhD Scholarship Application deadline: May 1
